Those who are entitled to receive a living allowance Must have the following qualifications:

(1) Holds Thai nationality
(2) Have a residence in the territory of the local government organization according to the home registration.
(3) Being sixty years of age or older and having registered and submitted an application for old-age allowance to the local government body.
(4) Must not receive other welfare or benefits from government agencies, state enterprises or local administrative organizations, including pensions, military retirement allowances, special pensions or similar payments; must not be an elderly resident of a government or local authority welfare institution or receive a salary, remuneration, regular income or other regular benefits provided by the state or a local authority. Exceptions apply to persons with disabilities and persons with AIDS under the Ministry of Interior Regulation on Subsistence Assistance Payments by Local Administrative Organizations B.E. 2558 (2015).
