On February 10, 2567, Mae Na Chon Subdistrict Administrative Organization welcomed Mr. Jupra Buruphat, Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, who visited Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province, to follow up on the settlement of the problem of livelihoods in Mae Chaem National Forest Reserve. Mr. Niratneep Phrakhonsathorn, Governor of Chiang Mai Province, Mr. Surchai Ajlabun, Director of Forestry Department, Colonel Trinrintar Pinsakkul, Chief of Forestry Division No. 1 (Chiang Mai), Mr. Satcharamanniwongse, Head of Forestry Land Management Department, managers of relevant agencies, leaders of local government organizations and entitled citizens attended.
Mr. Jupra, Secretary of the Department of Rural Affairs, said that solving the problem of land for farmers in Mae Chaem District is one of the important policies of the Department of Rural Affairs and thanked all sectors including the state, private and civil society who have joined forces to solve the problem in Mae Chaem District successfully and what we want to happen is the Proclamation on the Management of Mae Chaem Model to lead Mae Chaem to sustainability. The important thing is that the land must be combined with the development of the quality of life of our brothers and sisters. At the same time, Mr. Jupra Burupatne brought a reminder of Gen. Pacharavat Rungsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister-in-Charge of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to all sectors involved in solving the problem of farming in Mae Chaem District.
Then, the Secretary of State for Forestry and the Governor of Chiang Mai Province jointly witnessed the handover of digital ID cards to replace the actual ID cards between the Director of Forestry and representatives of 6 villages in Mae Chaem District and visited an exhibition of the results of the CTC in Mae Chaem District at the Subdistrict Administrative Organization.
