Project: "Water Sources Unite to Relief Natural Disasters"
On July 15, 2568 at the temporary meeting building of Ban Mae Wak Production Sorting Plant, Block 6, Mae Na Chon Subdistrict, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province.
Mae Na Chon Subdistrict Administrative Organization and Network Partners Participate in the State Excellence Award for Participatory Public Administration Extended Class B.E. 2568 Stage 2 (On-site Evaluation) Audit: The Project "Water Sources for Disaster Relief" of the Institute for Research and Development of the Highlands (IRD) passed the Participatory Public Administration Award 2568 Stage 1 Evaluation Criteria. The project "Water Sources for Disaster Relief" organized by the Office of the Civil Service Development Commission (CSDC) will undergo Stage 2 evaluation to confirm the scores by site visit and to share participatory roles in driving effective local operations.
Ban Mae Wak, 6th Block, Mae Na Chon Subdistrict, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province is a model area for learning and studying local development at the national level, recognized by all sectors and communities through its outstanding achievements and awards such as:
Awarded State Excellence Award in B.E. 2563 for "Shared Pond: Water Systems for Sustainable Agriculture" from the Office of the Minister of Agriculture, which is a participatory development process of communities and all government agencies to develop small water sources to address drought and adapt environmentally friendly farming systems.
Water Change Leadership Awards for fiscal year B.E. 2564, organized by the Office of the National Water Resources: 3 awards covering household, community and urban water management (individual and group categories), and water in relation to traditions, culture, nature and the environment.
The 2564 State Award for Excellence in Public Service, category of service development, for "Restoration of Fubao, Water Development, and Solving the Problem of People Living on High Grounds."
and the Chiang Mai No-Burning Village Award, B.E. 2564, from the social enterprise company.
