On 23 April B.E. 2569, the Mae Na Chon SAO forest fire control team inspected 1 morning hotspot at a corn-husk pile fire from the previous day at the Huai Phueng corn mill, to prevent it spreading beyond the site into the forest. The fire continued to subside.
The fire was reported by the Mae Suek Subdistrict County Secretary in the evening that there was a illegal burning of rotten corn near the junction of Mae San and Na Hang roads in Mae Suek Subdistrict. The Fire Control Task Force of Mae Na Chon Subdistrict Administrative Organization, together with the Governor of Mae Suek Subdistrict Administrative Organization, the Forestry Unit (Mae Na Hang) and volunteers from Ban Na Hang village helped put out the fire in the area and used a water truck to spray the fire. Another fire spread close to a corn shelf at the corn field on the bank of the river in Ban Nong Thong. A Mae Na Chon SAO water truck and a Mae Suek Municipality water truck sprayed the area and controlled it.
Operations
Operations are proceeding smoothly, presumably due to arson.
