On the morning of 1 May B.E. 2569, the Mae Na Chon SAO forest fire control team, Forest Protection Unit ชม.17 (Sop Wak), community leaders and volunteers from Ban Mae Sa Nga Klang inspected 2 hotspots at Ban Mae Sa Nga. They found that the forest fires had mostly gone out, with some tree stumps still burning. The team extinguished the burning stumps and brought the situation under control. Operations were completed smoothly; illegal forest burning was suspected.
