Meeting to clarify the establishment of a water user group committee with the Department of Water Resources

On August 25, 2569 at 09:00 a.m., Mr. Sambun Payaew, Governor of Mae Na Chon Subdistrict Administrative Organization, entrusted Mr. Swat Chuprachaung, Deputy Governor of Mae Na Chon Subdistrict Administrative Organization, along with a team of managers, staff officers and community leaders to attend a meeting to clarify the establishment of a water user group committee together with the Department of Water Resources to consult, discuss, set out a strategy for water management and create an understanding of the operation of the water user group to be efficient, transparent and of maximum benefit to farmers in the area. Discussions were held on important issues such as water management for agriculture, planning of water delivery during the growing season, maintenance of pumping stations, as well as listening to problems, obstacles and suggestions to improve operations in line with the needs of the people in the area. The funding will be used to support the employment and improve the quality of life of the people in Mae Na Chon Subdistrict.
