We will continue to establish and educate water users groups, supporting the area of CTC in Ban Mae Sa.

Mae Na Chon Subdistrict Administrative Organization, together with the 2nd Chiang Mai Water Conservation Department, has set up and provided information to water users in support of the area of the CTC. Ban Mae Sa Mae Chaem District Chiang Mai Province
Water Resources Conservation Division 2, Chiang Mai, Water Resources Office 1, Department of Water Resources, and Mae Na Chon SAO organized an activity under the project to establish and educate water user groups for water sources constructed and maintained by the Department of Water Resources in National Land Policy Committee (KTC) areas in Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province, for fiscal year B.E. 2569 (2026). This forms part of the water resource conservation and restoration project with a distribution system serving the KTC area of Ban Mae Sa.
Objectives and operational details
Empowering communities: Working with Mae Na Chon Subdistrict Administrative Organization to promote knowledge and understanding among citizens and water users on proper and sustainable water management, allocation and maintenance of water resources
Ban Mae Sa: To ensure that the people in the area of the Government’s (KTC) policy of providing land for community farming have sufficient water for both consumption and agriculture

The event was chaired by Mr. Swat Chuprawong, Deputy Governor of Mae Na Chon Subdistrict Administrative Organization, and attended by the executive team, Mae Na Chon SAO officials, community leaders and Ban Mae Sa residents.
The partnership between the Chiang Mai Water Conservation Division 2 and Mae Na Chon Subdistrict Administrative Organization is an important step in promoting local and community participation processes for the maximization and sustainability of water resources management in the area.
