The Department of Public Disaster Prevention and Relief (DPPR) will begin testing the emergency warning system through Cell Broadcast System (CBS) sending alert messages directly to the mobile phones of citizens in the test area to build disaster preparedness and evaluate the efficiency of the system before expanding it.
